How You Can Help

PALS services are provided free of charge through utilizing a network of over 450 volunteers and their pets. PALS relies solely on donations and fundraising efforts to maintain operations as we receive no government funding.

Your donation will go directly to the programs that are operating on over 60 facilities throughout Calgary, including nursing homes, long term care facilities, domestic violence, emergency, addiction and mental health facilities and touching the lives of those who are facing times of uncertainty and stress. PALS volunteers and their pets provides a non judgemental environment where pet therapy can help give them a break from their stressor and let them enjoy the peace and tranquility petting a PALS dog can bring.

Legacy Donation

Creating a gift in your will for PALS is one of the simplest was to create a legacy of everlasting giving. Regardless of whether your gift is large or small, you can make such a tremendous difference in the lives of so many seniors, children, teens and adults who are visited by the PALS volunteers and their pets at the facilities where they currently reside. Other types of bequests can include cash, real estate stocks, bonds, artwork, RRSP or RRIF. PALS can also be named as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy. Check with your financial planner or lawyer about the best way to leave your legacy.
